From TeamPitAFull.org comes word of a very special flash mob and candlelight vigil being planned for August 19th in Denver, Colorado. The purpose? “To further awareness and support, the community will come together as one voice for Change: Stop the discrimination, Stop the killing, Stop the waste of Denver tax dollars, Stop the ignorance and political agenda..and GIVE PITS A CHANCE!” And I’m guessing they wouldn’t mind if Denver re-considered it’s twenty-year-old ban on pit bulls.
Find out more about TeamPitAFull.org and their mission on their website. In may be cliche’, but the video they put together is truly a labor of love. If you love pit bulls, you’ll love these folks.
Not familiar with flash mobs? DallasFlashMob.com defines them this way – "a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and pointless act for a brief time, then quickly disperse." If you’ve never actually seen a flash mob, check out the videos below – a "Hallelujah Chorus" flash mob that took place at Seaway Mall in Welland, Ontario, in November of 2010, and the March 2011 Glee flash mob at Neiman’s in Northpark Mall:
