Mark your calendar! Wags and Waves 2012 will be held at NRH2O Family Water Park on Saturday, September 15th. You can float in the Endless River and catch some waves in the NRH2Ocean with your very best friend!
Wags and Waves gives families the opportunity to “show-off” a very important member of their family – their dogs. The fun-filled event only happens once each year, so you don’t want to miss out. It’s your only chance to surf in the NRH2Ocean, do the dog-paddle in the Frogstein’s Splashatory, or just float along in the Endless River with your faithful companion.
Scheduled activities include:
- Costume Contests
- Pet Tricks
- Agility and Retrieving Demonstration
- Live Music by The Big Guns
- ID Tags
- Vendors
- Goody Bags
- Food
- Separate activity pool areas for large and small breed dogs
- Lots of slides and activities
- Fun in the Sun and Surf!
Admission is only $20 per person (including 2 dogs). If you purchase your tickets online before September 10th, you get a free Wags and Waves T shirt (while supplies last). Reserved seating, located in either the Splashatory or Frogsteins Forest area, is available for an additional $75. Wags and Waves benefits the Metroplex Animal Coalition and its member rescue groups.
All dogs must have complete, up-to-date vaccinations and current rabies shots, and they must be spayed/neutered. No exceptions.
