Today as part of Petfinder.com‘s “Adopt A Less Adoptable Pet Week”, we’re featuring Gracie A735779 from Dallas Animal Services. Black cats are often overlooked in shelters and are hard to photograph, and they constantly battle the stigma created by old wives tales, folklore, and myths. That’s why black cats (and black dogs, too) are harder to adopt than pets of other colors.
Gracie has a big personality in an elegant little body. She is super sweet, playful, and doesn’t mind other cats. She just needs a home of her own. Her adoption fee is only $ 55 and includes her spay, vaccinations, and microchipping. The shelter is located at 1818 N. Westmoreland, Dallas (I-30 at Westmoreland) and they are open Monday – Saturday 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sunday noon until 5 p.m.
