Earlier today, in a packed courtroom at the Crowley Criminal Courts Building, a 10 women, 20 men jury found former Dallas Animal Services manager Tyrone McGill NOT GUILTY on charges of animal cruelty. McGill was indicted in August of 2010 on felony animal cruelty charges after leaving a cat to die, trapped in a wall at the shelter. McGill has been on paid administrative leave for over a year now, at his full salary, which is said to be over $ 60,000/year. Kind of makes you wonder, doesn’t it?
